Meet Our Teachers

Fiona’s journey into yoga began through movement and expression. Trained in dance and completing an Advanced Diploma of Art (Dance), she first explored the body’s rhythm through performance before discovering stillness through meditation at 19. What began as curiosity during a Vipassana retreat evolved into a lifelong exploration of the mind–body connection — exploring the dance between action and rest, effort and ease, movement and stillness through breath and awareness. Over the years, Fiona has immersed herself in many trainings, workshops, and retreats, within Australia and overseas, expanding her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, restorative yoga, inversions for the head, neck, and spine, and energy balancing. Her path was also shaped by years in the sport of skydiving, where she coached others to fly with presence — experiences that continued to deepen her understanding of breath, technical awareness, the balance of surrender, and the nervous system’s delicate rhythm — lessons that now guide her teaching. Now studying Nursing Science to explore the connection between health, movement, and mindfulness, Fiona integrates technical safety, embodied awareness, and compassionate guidance to support holistic wellbeing in her gentle vinyasa classes. She invites students to reconnect with breath, settle the mind, and move with intention and safety — leaving each practice feeling open, grounded, and quietly renewed.

My teaching style is grounded, practical, and adaptable. I believe in making yoga accessible to everyone, regardless of your experience or fitness level. I draw from my diverse training to create classes that blend traditional yoga practices with modern body awareness. Whether it's an energising Hatha flow or a grounding restorative practice, I emphasise mindful movement, breath work, and techniques you can easily incorporate into your daily life. I offer plenty of modifications and encourage students to listen to their bodies. Expect a welcoming, judgment-free zone where you're invited to explore what works best for you. Above all, I aim to make each class both nurturing and practical. You'll leave feeling refreshed, centred, and equipped with tools to navigate your day with more ease and awareness.

Krissy's journey with yoga started after the birth of her son 17 years ago. After years of fast paced movement, mostly at the gym, her mind and body were craving something else… slowing down and a deeper journey within. Krissy has been teaching now for 9 years and loves teaching many styles from dynamic Vinyasa flows to the slow holds of Yin and Restorative and the deep inner journey of Kundalini practice and meditation. Yoga for Krissy is more than a journey on the mat. Yoga is a deep journey through life itself.

Laura is a passionate student and teacher of yoga. Starting her yoga practice when she moved to Australia 8 years ago, Laura is inspired by many styles of yoga and movement modalities - all of which she blends into her classes. She loves that yoga is a constant progression - we're all studying, learning, and growing together through this practice. Her classes are an exploration of shapes and movement where she encourages students to be playful, find joy in their practice, and hopefully let go of expectations. Laura hopes to empower students to (re)connect with themselves and build strength in their bodies, while also having a good time! When not on the mat you can find Laura brunching, hiking and spending time in nature with her dogs!

Olivia has been practicing yoga for eight years, beginning her journey when her Pilates studio introduced yoga classes. Working in the mental health sector, she found yoga to be the ideal way to destress and recenter herself. After sustaining a spinal injury that required surgery, yoga became essential to her physical and mental recovery, inspiring her to become a yoga teacher and share this transformative practice. Passionate about using yoga to support mental health—a subject she is pursuing in her master’s studies—Olivia offers classes that balance challenge and relaxation for both mind and body.
