Come join Stacey in this 2-hour ‘Align & Refine’ Workshop, where you’ll take some time to explore key concepts of alignment and develop the tools to refine all of the common yoga postures from basic to more advanced asanas.
In this workshop, you’ll learn:
– The foundations of common yoga postures and their correct alignments
– Transitions for stepping and jumping from the front and back of the mat
– Common terminology and how it applies to the practice; vinyasa (flow of movement with breath), sthithi (permanence), tristhana (the three places of attention or action) and dristhi (point of focus for the gaze).
This workshop will allow you to build your confidence and learn the little tips that can take you to the next level as it will provide you with the time to break down the basic poses that are the foundation of all other asanas and enable you to apply the concepts you learn to more advanced postures.
This workshop is suitable for Yogis who have recently started yoga and are familiar with the basics through to Yogis who have been practising for years!
Cost: $40 for YED members & $45 for non-members
