In this practical specialty class, Brendan will teach you about fascia and the role it plays within the body. You’ll then get to try out a variety of fascial release techniques specifically for relieving pain and tension in your back and hips
You will use tennis balls and other props to work into all of your tight spots, releasing the fascia to get your back and hips moving freely again.
The fascia is a densely woven fabric of connective tissue within our bodies that holds us together. It wraps around every muscle, tendon, ligament, bone and organ. When the fascia becomes tight it can inhibit movement and cause pain. In addition to the physical benefits, fascial release has a calming effect on the central nervous system which will leave you feeling restored and centred.
This specialty class is perfect for everyone – especially those that suffer from back pain, limited mobility in the legs or back, and those with “tight hips”.
