Winter Solstice is an annual astronomical event that marks the mid point of Winter. It is the shortest day and the longest night and for thousands of years, it has been considered to be the perfect time to gather together to rest, restore and tune in to the energy of the earth.
Join Yoga Teacher & Acupuncturist, Brendan, for a Yins and Pins class that will provide you with exactly that, rest, restoration and a fine tuning of your energy levels.
In this 2 hour event, you will combine a subtle Yin Yoga practice with gentle pranayama (breathing) and mindfulness techniques, before settling into a well supported Shavasana. It is in this deeply restful state, that you will receive a unique distal acupuncture treatment (a combination of hand, foot, head or face needles).
